Sadhe-Sati literally means a state that lasts for 7 -1/2 years. The planet Saturn takes a complete round of Zodiac in 29yrs and 10 months. In one particular Sun Sign horoscope it remains for about 2-1/2 years. The period of Sadhe Sati begins when Saturn transits the 12th house from natal Moon, and remains there for 7-1/2 years till it leaves 2nd house from Moon. While entering the 12th house from natal Moon, it affects the 2nd from natal moon because of its 3rd aspect. It occupies house of expenses with respect to 1st house.
